DELIVERIES
Retreat offers deliveries to most major areas of New Zealand by courier. A delivery is interpreted as an attempted delivery by our chosen courier company. We do not accept liability or delay in the event there is no-one to receive the delivery at the delivery address. You may or may not be asked for a signature on delivery. Deliveries will not be left if no-one home, unless otherwise stated. If you are comfortable for the goods to be left if no-one is home, please state this on your order in the comments section and advise a safe & secure place for the order to be placed. If a secure place cannot be found for the goods they will be taken back to the depot. If redelivery is attempted you maybe charged a second delivery fee. We cannot accept any responsibility for theft or loss once goods are delivered. Please contact us directly if you'd like to make alternative delivery arrangements. For security reasons we can not deliver to Post Office boxes.
All items purchased from Retreat are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for shipment. If the delivery details given by you are incorrect, and thus affecting delivery we may have to charge an additional delivery charge.
We offer a free delivery service for items purchased on our website over the value of $100 (excludes rural deliveries & deliveries to off shore islands). We offer a $5 delivery option to items purchased online that are under the $100 value (this is restricted to mainland north island).
