As a lifestyle gift store we give special attention to the in store environment. This is designed to create a mood that is relaxed and stress free. We achieve this with soft lighting, beautiful product displays and mood music. We wish to bombard the senses and create positive emotions and transmit good karma.

Advice is available as all store employees are familiar with the products sold and the candle making process. Product information is also provided in the form of free brochures.

New Zealand candle artisans and producers are important to us and where possible we give prominence to NZ made and sourced products. Our Retreat branded products are part of this process where we work with a local candle maker to provide customer favourites that are NZ made.

Special occasions can be catered for and assistance provided in sourcing feature candles or rare essential oils or fragrances and blends.

There is a personalized candle service for any occasion such a baptism, wedding, birthday or memorial that can place text or images onto candles.

If you want to recycle glass candle containers Retreat can refill any container with pure natural soy wax infused with any fragrance.
